Complete the theory portion online at your own pace, followed by a mandatory in-class practical session. This blended course provides essential first aid training for responding to common emergencies, including CPR, AED use, choking, circulation emergencies, wound care, and more. Course Content Responding to Emergencies Check, Call, Care Breathing & Circulation Emergencies Circulation Emergencies Wound Care Head, Neck, Spine & Pelvis Injuries CPR & AED – Adult Choking Response – Adult Course Format / Duration: 4 hours online learning – Complete the theory portion at your own pace (Online learning time will vary depending on the learner) 4 hours in class – Mandatory hands-on practical session Certification: 3-year Basic First Aid & CPR Level A certification Workplace Compliance: Course curriculum meets the requirements of the applicable Federal or Provincial Authority Having Jurisdiction for workplace first aid training and aligns with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Basic First Aid standard. The course meets applicable WSIB workplace first aid training requirements.
