Service Description

This recertification course refreshes essential Basic Life Support skills for healthcare professionals and other professional responders with a duty to respond. Learners review rapid assessment, CPR, AED use, airway obstruction, assisted ventilation, and team-based response to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Course Content: Primary Assessment CPR & AED Airway Obstruction Assisted Ventilation Basic Life Support Special Considerations Glove Removal Course Format / Duration: 2 hours in class – Mandatory hands-on practical session Prerequisite: A valid Basic Life Support certificate is required to attend this recertification course. Renewal Requirement: Once the recertification certification expires, learners must complete the full Basic Life Support course again. Certification: 1-year Basic Life Support certification Audience: Ideal for in-facility and pre-hospital care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals, firefighters, rescue teams, sports-medicine professionals, lifeguards, and ski patrol. Workplace / Professional Training: This course is designed for professionals with a duty to respond and focuses on team-based CPR, rapid assessment, Basic Life Support skills, and rapid defibrillation using an AED.
